THE CITY OF 10 <br />-~ CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />PLEASANTON. <br />September 19, 2017 <br />Library Services <br />TITLE: ADOPT A NEW LIBRARY COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT POLICY <br />SUMMARY <br />The library staff has reviewed the current Materials Selection Policy and found that it <br />needed additions and modifications to better reflect the entirety of the collection <br />development process for library materials. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt the new Library Collection Development Policy. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no fiscal impact related to the adoption of this new policy. <br />
