37. The development shall meet all the requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code <br /> (Chapter 20.24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />38. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of lumber construction to <br /> the final inspection. <br /> <br />39. Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity <br /> of 1.5 cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or <br /> combustible roof eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. <br /> <br />40. All public and private streets, driveways, aisles, and alleys designated as fire lanes <br /> by the Fire Chief shall be maintained in accordance with Articles 9 and 10 of the <br /> Uniform Fire Code which includes tow of vehicles illegally parked on the fire <br /> lanes. Fire lane curbs shall be painted red with "No Parking Fire Lane" or "No <br /> Parking Fire Lane" signs installed as required by the vehicle code. <br /> <br />41. All portions of a building shall have installed within a 75 foot radius a fire <br /> extinguisher with a minimum rating of2-A: 10-B:C. <br /> <br />42. Each commercial or industrial building entry point shall have a Knox Box, as <br /> approved by the Fire Chief. Each Knox Box shall have the entry type and number <br /> of keys located in the box. <br /> <br />43. The Fire Chief shall issue a permit prior to any installation of a fire detection, <br /> alarm, and occupant notification system. All sprinkler system water flow and <br /> control valves shall be complete and serviceable prior to final inspection. Prior to <br /> occupancy of the building with the fire alarm systems, the Fire Department shall <br /> test and witness the fire alarm system. <br /> <br />Police <br /> <br />44. If required by the Police Department, the building shall be equipped with an alarm <br /> system, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this system <br /> shall be installed prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br /> <br />
