7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />"Welcome to Pleasanton" Sion at the DSRSD Propert <br />Commissioner Pearce stated that recently, a "Welcome to Pleasanton" sign was <br />installed above the DSRSD sign at its property along Stoneridge Drive. She inquired if <br />the City had anything to do with that because the bio -solid facility seemed to be an odd <br />place to have the "Welcome" sign and does not send a great message. She further <br />inquired if the City has any authority over that or if DSRSD can just do it as a <br />government property. <br />Mr. Dolan indicated that he has not seen the sign and asked if it had the City emblem <br />on it. <br />Commissioner Pearce replied that it did not; it just says "Welcome to Pleasanton" right <br />over the word "bio- solid." <br />Mr. Dolan stated that staff would look into it. <br />8.
