THE CITY OF 1 8 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> July 18, 2017 <br /> Community Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE ALVISO ADOBE COMMUNITY PARK <br /> IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On July 21, 2015 the City Council approved the Alviso Adobe Community Park Strategic <br /> Plan. The Plan's purpose is to reaffirm or modify the City's existing approach to <br /> programming the facility, as well as the vision, mission, and guiding principles for the <br /> Alviso Adobe Community Park. <br /> Since this time, City staff and the Alviso Adobe Strategic Plan Task Force have met and <br /> developed an Implementation Plan. The Implementation Plan identifies tasks that are <br /> related to each strategy included in the Strategic Plan. The Implementation Plan also <br /> indicates the resources that are needed, and the priority and timeframe projected to <br /> complete each task. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br /> City Council review and approve the proposed Alviso Adobe Community Park <br /> Implementation Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> City Council review and approve the proposed Alviso Adobe Community Park <br /> Implementation Plan. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> While there is no immediate cost associated with the adoption of the Alviso Adobe <br /> Implementation Plan, a number of the strategies identified have associated costs that <br /> will be need to be budgeted for. <br />
