This proposal is based on your
requirements for Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents,
Bidding and Construction Administration services. it is assumed that the project will be
developed using a standard design-bid-build approach.
I have based this proposal on the preliminary requirement to design the project for the
replacement of the existing Fire Station 3, located on Santa Rita Road to accommodate a 2
bay fire station with drive through apparatus bays. It is assumed that the station will be
approximately 8,000 square feet and be a two story station. The estimated construction
budget for the project is approximately $4,000,000 and will be further refined as the design
develops.
Please note that this proposal is based on the scope of services that we believe is necessary
to successfully complete this project. if there are scope items that are not included, or that
are not necessary, we would be pleased to adjust the scope and fee to meet your needs.
We are proposing to offer the following scope of services:
SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE
+ Meet with Project Team (including the fire station design committee) to discuss
budget, program and design issues. The intent is to develop a detailed design
program and space needs assessment.
+ Meet with City Building and Planning Department to review all requirements including
design review, accessibility issues and approval process.
+ Develop Preliminary Building Floor Plans and Building Elevations for the fire station.
280 Bettencourt Street, Sonoma, CA 95476
www.jetikatzarchitecture.com
