Pleasanton Fire Station 4 Wood Trim Replacement Proposal <br /> May 1, 2017 <br /> Page 2 <br /> FIELD INVESTIGATION /NEEDS ASSESSMENT PHASE <br /> Field investigation of Station 4 including analysis of existing trim/parapet <br /> conditions throughout the building. We will not be taking detailed as-built <br /> measurements to create accurate as-built drawings, except as needed to <br /> design the improvements to the areas in question. Non-Destructive <br /> Structural review of existing conditions is included. <br /> • Meet with Project Team to discuss budget, program and design issues. . <br /> • Meet with City Building Department to review all requirements including <br /> accessibility requirements and approval process. <br /> Develop Preliminary repair details Plans to determine overall options <br /> available. These plans will be schematic in nature and are intended only <br /> to provide information with regard to overall proposed modifications. <br /> Develop preliminary Cost Estimates based upon building systems. The <br /> estimates prepared at this phase will be generally square foot cost <br /> estimates for the various building components, and will include a design <br /> development contingency (to allow for potential increases as the design is <br /> refined further in the later stages of the project). <br /> Prepare a design narrative describing the feasibility of the design <br /> approach for the work. Develop preliminary needs assessment report to <br /> include existing conditions analysis, proposed modifications and <br /> preliminary cost estimates <br /> • Make required submissions to City for preliminary report review and <br /> comments. <br /> • Make corrections and adjustments to incorporate City comments and <br /> make final presentation to City Council to present report findings. <br /> For the Concept Design Phase we have included two coordination <br /> meetings at a desired location with selected City staff and stakeholders. <br /> 28o Bettencourt Street Sonoma, CA 95476 <br /> wwv%jcflkatzarchitecturc.com <br />
