Although a fund balance of approximately $290,000 exists for this District, staff <br /> recommends increasing the current assessment, as the District contains a number of <br /> improvements for which long-term replacement must be considered. A significant <br /> amount of capital improvements are currently underway that will impact the fund <br /> balance. Future improvements consist of rock veneer entry walls (260 lineal feet), a <br /> masonry wall along Moller Ranch Drive (1200 lineal feet), an extensive irrigation system, <br /> and decorative street lighting at the project entrance and other features. <br /> Staff met with the Moller Ranch Homeowners Association to discuss increased <br /> assessments to meet their capital improvement requirements and are working towards a <br /> vote on the increased assessment before the end of the 2017/18 fiscal year. <br /> With the assessment of two city-owned parcels, the City will pay $1,121.06 ($560.53 <br /> each). <br /> Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approved • : <br /> (A/ <br /> Stephen • patrick Tina Olson Nelson Fialho <br /> Director of Engineering Director of Finance City Manager <br /> Attachments: <br /> 1.
