CITY OF PLEASANTON 1 <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> April 18, 2017 <br /> Vice Mayor Pentin called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Olson <br /> led the pledge of allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Vice Mayor Pentin <br /> Absent: Mayor Thorne <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Consent Item No. 5 was pulled from the Consent Calendar. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Vice Mayor Pentin opened public comments on the Consent Calendar. Seeing and hearing no one <br /> wishing to address the City Council, Vice Mayor Pentin closed public comments. <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Approved minutes of March 21, 2017 <br /> 2. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance 2160 to reauthorizing the public, educational and <br /> governmental access fee in Municipal Code §6.54.060 on State Cable Franchisees operating <br /> within the City of Pleasanton <br /> 3. Approved first amendment to the Employment Contract of the City Attorney to provide for a five <br /> percent salary increase retroactive to November 16, 2016 <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 5. Pulled and moved to regular items: Approve a professional services agreement with <br /> FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS) for services involving the preperation of a subsequent Environmental <br /> Impact Report (subsequent EIR) for Tim Lewis Communities' proposal of 39 single-family <br /> detached homes and related improvements on the Spotorno Property in the amount not to exceed <br /> $252,370 <br /> Engineering <br /> 6. Accepted public improvement for Parcel Map 10390 located at 1157 Sleepy Head Lane and <br /> authorized the City Clerk to file a notice of completion <br /> 7. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City Manager to <br /> execute a construction contract with Granite Rock Company in the amount of $1,450,536 for the <br /> Valley Avenue and Hopyard Road Pavement Rehabilitation project (OBAG Cycle 1), CIP No. <br /> 15526; authorized the Director of Engineering approve and execute change orders not to exceed <br /> $145,000, the transfer of$550.280 from the Annual Street Resurfacing of Various Streets project, <br /> CIP No. 15503 to said project <br />
