I am a resident of Avignon of Pleasanton which is located off Vineyard Avenue. <br /> understand there will be a meeting regarding the Old Vineyard Trail project on May 16. I <br /> am aware that there where traffic strips placed on Safreno and Machado streets in April. <br /> I would like it to be noted that the car counts done are very in-accurate. First of all the <br /> strips where not placed on the same day for both streets. Secondly, the strips placed on <br /> Machado Place where placed during Spring Break for all of the Pleasanton schools and <br /> regular after school activities. This count is severely inaccurate for many people where <br /> on vacation and no one is driving to and from schools since they where closed. In one <br /> day, for my car alone, that's 8 counts missing. I use that road daily to take kids to <br /> Vintage hills elemenatary, then I go back home, then I pick them up, come home again, <br /> then leave to take kids to activities, come back home again, then pick them up from <br /> activities and back to home. This is the minimum amount that I use Machado Place on a <br /> weekday. Please consider the car counts done as misleading for it was not done on a <br /> typical day in Pleasanton. <br /> Thank you, <br /> Michelle Sezen <br /> 2 <br />
