I
Our reply: "UNACCEPTABLE!"
Their comment: But the plan in 1999 thought that was best."
Our reply: "Everything has changed in the 18 years that have transpired. -We will fight this including taking the city to
court for an injunction to address our safety concerns. One neighbor present is our attorney."
OUR DEMANDS:
For safety of our children. For the safety of all the walkers, joggers, cyclists and kids that walk the Old Vineyard Trail
every day. For the sanity of the 19 homes up on the hill:
1) Keep the traffic light in place so that the 10 house development and the 9 house development can depart in a north
west direction quickly, easily and safely drive the 42 seconds to the traffic light for entry onto Vineyard.
2)We demand that the mega steep, narrow road be blocked off at the bottom prior to the Old Vineyard Walking Path
with a temporary gate that could be opened by the fire chief for emergency access if needed.
3) Further,we demand that the top of rolling hill have the same temporary fire gate installed. Keeping the Walking Path
free of speeding cars flying across it.
The BENEFITS:
1) NO ONE DIES BY GETTING HIT BY A SPEEDING CAR...on the walking path or in our neighborhood
2)The town has a substantially better choice option to exit and enter cars into the two new developments on the hill.
3)The traffic light controls safe entry onto Vineyard vs the blind bend entry at Thiessen.
4) Neighbors on the hill have a 42 second drive to the light vs an almost 2 min with up too three turns to get to Vineyard.
5) Its cost effective. Why spend the money to remove a traffic light that is already in place.
We look forward to your thoughts. We invite you to come walk this hill with us so that you can see with your own eyes
the concerns we are raising. Please come and drive the two routes to witness for yourself the issues we raise in the
details above.
My cell is 508-333-1490. We have 25 families that would love to meet you and talk about this at the locations we are
concerned about.
We will have a large group of neighbors and children at the town hall meeting on May 2nd to raise these issues with you.
We want you to have an informed view of how this plan and our simple request.
Thanks for your attention. Thanks for your consideration.
Mark Paul
2277 Vineyard Heights Lane
Pleasanton, CA
94566
Click
https://www.mailcontrol.com/sr/FhndlyOvAODGX2PQPOmvUgEBY15CIgt1+LTBUs9ivOtPRm4W mgcG6!TnJV9FPRcErWVO
v2ILVCvCXaTERp6o1w== to report this email as spam.
4
