<br /> 2.4 PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN
<br /> The project site has a General Plan Land Use designation of "Public and Institutional"
<br /> which generally allows public and quasi-public community facilities. Residential land
<br /> uses are not allowed under this designation. Therefore, an amendment to the 2005-
<br /> 2025 General Plan Land Use designation would need to be processed to change
<br /> the land use designation of the project site from "Public and Institutional" to
<br /> "Medium Density Residential." This General Plan amendment is part of the project
<br /> described below.
