Information that compares ADU regulations and transit definitions from the cities of <br /> Fremont, Newark, and Cotati. Staff also included data for the cities/towns of <br /> Monterey, Hillsborough, and Cupertino; and <br /> 2. The number of ADUs approved in the City between May 2011 and January 2017. <br /> Please refer to the January 25, 2017 meeting minutes (Attachment 3) for discussion of the <br /> requested data. In short, this information showed that there is no commonly agreed-upon <br /> definition of "public transit" and that ADU regulations vary from community to community to <br /> reflect local conditions. <br /> In the memorandum to the Planning Commission with the information requested by <br /> Commissioner Allen (Attachment 4), staff suggested that the Commission consider two <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br />
