Too
many houses and too many stories to each house. The Sunflower project is a wonderful thing
but it is terrible that they have to finance it with such dense and high housing!
I am beginning to believe that we should encourage more huge commercial buildings because
at least then we'd get some 'open space' with a large parking lot. I'm beginning to think our
only views remotely to the sky will be paved over parking lot land if the current trend
continues.
How about the City figuring out how to subsidize the Sunflower project and at least half the
Irby land so it can be less densely built and try to leave some areas without buildings on them.
Betty Nostrand
1
