I was born here, grew up here, and am now a proud homeowner here in town. The severe uptick in developments over the last 7-10 years have been more than disappointing and concerning. What happened to Pleasanton's culture of slow-growth and community? There are so many reasons to curtail further development, all of which I know the City Council already is well aware, and continues to ignore and cover-up. Developments bulldoze over the only open spaces left in what used to be beautiful town nestled in the hills. We continuously shove wildlife off the few remaining parcels of undeveloped land. Wildlife then attempts to cohabitate within the concrete developments only to end up roadkill or trapped and "relocated." Disgusting display of stewardship. 1
