Unfortunately,the Sunflower Hill project, if approved as <br /> currently proposed,will satisfy less than 5%of the need in our community. We need to do more, but this is a start. Not <br /> only will approval of this project help this fragile community, it will help meet our affordable housing needs. This is an <br /> excellent way to address affordable housing. The SFH project will have very little traffic impact and zero impact on our <br /> schools. <br /> Also contrary to the assertions made by opponents,SFH does have the capacity and the right partner to successfully <br /> complete their portion of the project. <br /> While we will always have to be conscious of water usage in California,the arguments against this project on the basis of <br /> the drought have always been a convenient red herring. <br /> 1 <br />
