While we were pleased to see that funds are being requested to maintain the trees on the Bonde property, we were disappointed to read the report that states that two Blue Gum heritage trees behind our home (tag #s 125 and 127) are being recommended for removal. We do not support the removal of these heritage trees. We do, however, support allocating funds to ensure these Eucalyptus trees are regularly pruned and protected (as well as the Scrub Oak trees that were planted on the Bonde property near the Ventana Hills property line). Many of the trees in this proposal are heritage trees that are located right along our back fence line. We have appreciated them since we purchased our home in 1989. They providesound and sight protection for our property, which is why the Ventana Hills Steering Committee worked hard to 1
