I just drove by there and the Stoneridge Creek van (with Stoneridge Creek on the side of the van) is in one space
and 6 cars are in the other spaces and there is no one at the park and no one playing tennis. These cars are
there many times overnight. The city needs to place signs there with a time limit(3 hours) and indicate they are
for park use only. If a car is there more than 3 hours, it needs to be ticketed and towed away. I hope that the
city addresses this issue at Stoneridge Creek at the meeting tonight. I am ccing Susan Andrade-Wax and Dave
Spiller so that they are aware of it.
5. MONEY NEEDS TO BE SPENT ON OTHER RECREATIONAL NEEDS: The nearly$1 million needs to be earmarked for
a Teen Center, which the city has long promised but has done zero to implement. Since the site across from the
Post Office on Black Avenue closed, for several decades the city has promised a Teen Center but has delivered
nothing. The city needs to either create a Teen Center or rent an existing commercial building and retrofit it for
a Teen Center. The nearly$1 million should go toward that rather than two additional courts at the Tennis
Park.
6. CITY OWNED LIGHTED PMS COURTS: The last time I went there a couple of years ago, they were in horrible
shape. They need resurfacing badly.
Thanks,
Anne Fox
Click here to report this email as spam.
2
