Approve a professional services agreement with BKF Engineers in the not-to-exceed amount of $80,000 to evaluate and develop pedestrian and bicycle improvements for 1-580 and 1-680 overcrossings Councilmember Brown suggested including that alternative routes be properly marked/demarcated, in the agreement. Councilmember Narum questioned spending money on the 1-580 when there are higher-ranking projects in the plan. It was noted that staff will balance future "low-hanging fruit" in order to address them, as they come up and will pursue grant opportunities as appropriate. MOTION: It was m/s by Pentin/Olson to approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with BKF Engineers in the not-to-exceed amount of $80,000 to evaluate and develop pedestrian and bicycle improvements for 1-580 and 1-680 overcrossings. Approve a professional services agreement with Fehr& Peers in the amount of $39,908 to provide planning and engineering services for a Foothill Road Bicycle Corridor Plan Councilmember Narum would like to have a bike/pedestrian crossing, at the Alviso Adobe Park, added to the professional services agreement. MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Brown to approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Fehr & Peers in the amount of $39,908 to provide planning and engineering services for a Foothill Road Bicycle Corridor Plan with the addition of a bike/pedestrian crossing at the Adobe Park.
