RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE EXISTING MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR ANNUAL <br /> FIRE CODE & UNIFIED PROGRAM ACTIVITY FEES <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton City Council adopted resolution No 15-767 which <br /> adopted the master fee schedule for development related services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the fee schedule is based upon annual inspections and does not account <br /> for businesses who do not require an inspection every year; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department has identified certain types of <br /> businesses for which performing inspections every 3 years will meet public safety goals and <br /> state requirements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The businesses identified in this category shall be billed annually 1/3rd of <br /> the regular annual fee as identified in the master fee schedule. <br /> SECTION 2. This class of businesses will pay the full state surcharge as determined <br /> by the State of California each year. <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective 30 days after adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on October 4, 2016. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 4TH day of October, <br /> 2016 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
