The proposed deliverables and delivery dates are included to <br /> outline the progression of tasks. We anticipate that this approach will follow the schedule provided in the next <br /> section with project work starting in June 2016. <br /> TASK 1:PROJECT MANAGEMENT&MEETINGS <br /> Fehr&Peers will attend a project kick-off meeting to refine the project schedule,deliverables,and identify the City's <br /> desired goals, objectives, and concerns for the Foothill Road corridor. Fehr & Peers will plan to attend one (1) in- <br /> person meeting with City staff to discuss progress and alternative concept designs.We will also plan to attend one <br /> (1) Bicycle Pedestrian Trails Committee (BPTC) meeting to review alternative concept designs and the draft plan. <br /> Additional meetings may be requested on a time and materials basis. On-going monthly invoicing and project <br /> management time with additional hours for as needed check-in conference calls and email correspondence are also <br /> included in this task. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Attend one(1) project kick-off meeting <br /> • Attend (1) in-person meetings with City Staff <br /> • Attend (1) Bicycle Pedestrian Trails Committee (BPTC) meeting <br /> • Attend as needed check-in conference calls and email correspondence <br /> • Monthly invoices <br /> Delivery date:On-going. Kick-off meeting to occur within one week of contract execution. <br /> TASK 2:DATA COLLECTION <br /> Fehr&Peers and MTCo will perform a field inventory along Foothill Boulevard to identify all existing bicycle facilities <br /> and potentially substandard sections of the corridor. Fehr & Peers will use available traffic volumes ongoing and <br /> past studies which included bicycle and pedestrian counts. Fehr & Peers will use existing GIS data from nearby <br /> projects and verify the accurateness in the field.We will specifically identify the following in the inventory: <br /> • Location, segment length, and classification of all existing bikeways along the Foothill Corridor and for <br /> intersection approaches <br /> • Pavement markings <br /> • Number of adjacent auto lanes, speed limit, and arterial crossings <br /> • Average daily traffic(where available) <br /> • Substandard sections, gaps, bottlenecks, and maintenance problems <br /> • Location and type of bicycle signage <br /> • Physical hazards <br /> • Physical constraints such as slopes, vegetation, and drainage facilities <br /> Fehr&Peers will also work with the City to identify existing City right-of-way and potential future areas of expansion. <br /> Deliverables:Figures and maps will be included in as part of the Task 3 submittal. <br /> Delivery Date:Data collection will occur during the first three weeks after contract execution. <br /> FEHRtPEERS 3 <br />
