"Nature's Bliss" — artist, Alma Ramirez <br /> a. Artist Description: Abstract design that tries to capture the beauty of <br /> Pleasanton's nature. Blooming trees, clean and colorful skies from dusk till <br /> dawn make our city look colorful and filled with life. My painting displays a <br /> lively painted sky with white blossoms. (Refer to attachment 5 for more <br /> detail.) <br /> b. The Civic Arts Commission is recommending placement of this design on <br /> the utility box located at Bernal Avenue and First Street. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> The Civic Arts Commission has approved the designs and is recommending the designs <br /> to the City Council for their review and consideration. Once the designs and locations <br /> are approved and an agreement with the artists are completed, the artists will have a <br /> four (4) week period to complete their work.
