Traffic Division <br /> 42. Comprehensive traffic control measures shall be implemented during construction, <br /> including scheduling of major truck trips and deliveries to avoid peak travel hours. If <br /> necessary, as determined by the Traffic Engineer, proper lane closure procedures such <br /> as flagger stations, signage, cones, and other warning devices shall be implemented <br /> during construction. <br /> 43. The sidewalk on the north side of Dublin Canyon Road along the project frontage shall be <br /> a minimum of 5 feet wide. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps shall be <br /> installed at the project entry. <br /> 44. A minimum of six-foot wide bike lane shall be installed on the north side of Dublin <br /> Canyon Road along the project frontage. A westbound deceleration lane into the project <br /> shall be included and used for both vehicular right turns and bikes (i.e., there shall be no <br /> bike specific striping through the turn pocket). The applicant shall submit plans showing <br /> this revision subject to review and approval by the Traffic Engineer as part of the <br /> subdivision improvement plan. <br /> 45. An eastbound left turn pocket into the project shall be installed at the project entry. <br /> Landscaping <br /> 46. A final landscape and irrigation plan shall be submitted to and approved by Director of <br /> Community Development as part of the building permit plan set prior to issuance of a <br /> building permit. Said landscape plan shall include the planting of additional trees on the <br /> project site to mitigate the loss of existing trees. Prior to building permit finals for the new <br /> homes, landscaping along Dublin Canyon Road and on both sides of the private street <br /> within the front yard setbacks shall be installed and inspected by Planning Division. All <br /> rear and side yard landscaping designs shall be submitted for review and approval by the <br /> Planning Division prior to installation. Plant species shall be of drought-tolerant nature <br /> and suitable for reclaimed water, and the irrigation design shall utilize low-volume drip, <br /> bubbler, or other water conserving irrigation systems to the maximum extent possible. <br /> Landscaping installation in the rear and side yards shall be installed within nine (9) <br /> months of occupancy. <br /> 47. Plans submitted for plan check shall be revised where feasible to retain trees 941, 942, <br /> 943, 949 and 951 along Dublin Canyon Road if possible by revising the location of the <br /> meandering sidewalk. Only Trees 946, 954, F, H, and J, as referenced in the of the tree <br /> report prepared by Dryad, LLC., dated March 14, 2015 and amended on June 24, 2016 <br /> and June 29, 2015, on file with the Planning Division are permitted to be removed. The <br /> project developer shall comply with all other recommendations of the tree report. The <br /> applicant/project developer shall arrange for the horticultural consultant to conduct a field <br /> inspection prior to issuance of City permits to ensure that all recommendations have been <br /> properly implemented.
