Members of Council concurred accordingly.
Discussion followed regarding Measure BB funds and the requirement to have an approved Bicycle and
Pedestrian Master Plan.
Councilmember Pentin offered bicycles to those who would like to ride to the workshop.
Councilmember Brown reported that Vice Mayor Narum and she, met with City staff and residents of
the Gates Community who are experiencing land settlement and have asked for City engineering
resources to provide them with data on land settlement. They are concerned with some of the wells
that are pulling down the water enough to form settlement problems. The City Manager will ask Council
to approve the allocation of resources and Councilmember Brown asked for information in terms of the
amount of hours that will be necessary.
Staff stated that the City has given them information and they are working with Zone 7 to give them the
information that they need.
