We have often spoken to friends living in other communities about the facilities and <br />programs offered by the City. The tennis facilities in particular, are one of the key attractions for us. I play 2 -3 <br />times a week and play league tennis all around the bay area - there are few courts in the East Bay that match up <br />to the quality of the surface and the surroundings. The courts are well maintained and well used. Most evenings <br />find most of the courts occupied - with folks waiting outside for the next slot. <br />I was happy to hear that the additional courts in the original master plan were finally approved for construction. <br />I understand that non - tennis playing folks might feel left out of the benefits of a community tennis facility, but <br />1 <br />
