CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 792 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 62 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED <br /> BETWEEN WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD, THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> RAILROAD TRACKS, THE TASSAJARA CANAL AND SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> FROM PUD (I-P AND C-S) (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, INDUSTRIAL <br /> PARK AND COMMERCIAL SERVICE) DISTRICT TO P (PUBLIC AND <br /> INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT AND PUD (RM-2500 AND O) (PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT, MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL AND OFFICE) DISTRICT <br /> AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ACCORDINGLY (ZONING UNIT #154) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Rezones from PUD (I-P AND C-S) (Planned Unit Develop- <br /> ment) District, allowing industrial park and commercial <br /> service uses, to P (Public and Institutional) District <br /> approximately 23 acres of land and to PUD (RM-2500 and <br /> <br /> O) (Planned Unit Development) District, allowing multipl~ <br /> family residential and office uses, approximately 39 <br /> acres of land located between West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, the Tassajara <br /> Canal and Santa Rita Road, which is more particularly <br /> <br /> described in Zoning Unit Map No. 154, attached hereto. <br />Section 2. In order to protect the public health, safety and <br /> <br /> general welfare this rezoning shall be subject to the <br /> following conditions: <br /> <br /> (1) The applicant, or his successors, shall imple- <br /> ment those mitigation measures identified by <br /> the environmental impact report approved by <br /> Resolution No. 76-205, or by future environ- <br /> mental reports prepared for this project, and <br /> that have been required as mitigation measures <br /> by the Planning Commission and/or City Council <br /> at any developmental stage of the project. <br /> <br /> (2) The subject property will undergo an environ- <br /> mental assessment at each developmental stage, <br /> and based on such assessment, the City may <br /> require further environmental investigations, <br /> reports or studies. <br /> <br /> (3) Development of the PUD zoned land (for multiple <br /> residential and office uses) not precede <br /> development of the hospital complex zoned <br /> public and institutional. <br /> <br /> <br />
