Mr. Mike Tassano <br />November 4. 2015 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />FEHR4'PEERS <br />Task 2 - Project Seeping <br />As part of this task, MTCo will identify the costs and Caltrans approval process for each alternative, <br />including a discussion of required design exceptions for each alternative, and a design exception risk <br />assessment based upon consultation with Caltrans HQ Design Liaison. MTCo will prepare a technical <br />memorandum describing each altemative. identifying project costs and impacts, and outlining the <br />Caltrans approval process required for each alternative, including major deliverables and approval <br />schedule. Based upon the input of the City, MTCo and Fehr & Peers will identify a recommended <br />altemative and approval process. As part of this task, MTCo will develop a scope. schedule and <br />budget for the final design and approval of the recommended alternative. <br />Deliverables <br />• Technical Memorandum Scoping Document <br />• Design and Approval Scope, Schedule and Budget <br />Task 3 - Meetings <br />As part of this scope of work, Fehr & Peers and MTCo staff will attend up to three meetings, including <br />project team meetings and meetings with Caltrans. <br />BUDGET ESTIMATE AND SCHEDULE <br />Our overall level of effort is presented in Attachment A which includes both Fehr & Peers and MTCo. <br />Preliminary Project Alternatives will be prepared within three weeks of receipt of a fully executed <br />contract and a project team kick off meeting. The deliverables identified in Task 2 will be submitted <br />within three weeks of MTCo consultation with the Caltrans HQ Design Liaison.
