Cutting people out of the <br /> decision-making process who are invested emotionally and financially will not be well received. Staff is <br /> consistently increasing public engagement efforts in an effort to maintain and build trust,and to allow the <br /> community to grow and(re)develop in a cohesive and progressive manner. <br /> While Pleasanton's General Plan has been update recently,the community is in the early stages of a Zoning <br /> Code Update. At this time,the Zoning Code does not contain sufficient specificity to ensure that a by-right <br /> decision-making process would ensure a high-quality project and/or neighborhood.
