Accepted public improvements performed by O'Grady Paving, Inc. for the Annual Resurfacing of <br /> Various Streets project, CIP 145003; authorized the City Clerk to file a notice of completion, the <br /> payment of retention in the amount of$132,176.55, the return of the project balance of$69,375 to <br /> the Streets Fund <br /> 10. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 16-860 ordering the summary vacation of <br /> excess right of way on Owens Drive, Willow Road, and Gibraltar Drive <br /> Human Resources <br /> 11. Approved the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton <br /> City Employees Association/AFSCME Local 955 with a term ending March 31, 2019 <br /> Mayor Thome opened public comments. Seeing and hearing no one wishing to address Council, <br /> Mayor Thome closed public comments. <br /> Councilmember Brown commented on Item No. 3 relative to a patio cover; application number P160896 <br /> — Bryan Bowers, and confirmed with staff that it is in compliance with the City's Municipal Code. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Olson to approve the Consent Calendar as recommended. Recognition of outgoing Committee members <br /> Mayor Thorne recognized Committee Member Justin Brown and presented him with a certificate in <br /> appreciation to his service to the City as a member of the Bicycles, Pedestrians and Trails Committee. <br /> He noted that Mr. Brown will be joining the City's Planning Commission. <br /> 13.
