ATTACHMENT # 2 <br /> Exhibit A - Pleasanton, CA — AMI Project — Statement of Work <br /> I. Summary <br /> The City of Pleasanton (hereinafter called the "City") has entered into a contract with Aclara <br /> Technologies, LLC (hereinafter called "Aclara") to deploy Aclara's STAR® Advanced Metering <br /> Infrastructure (AMI) system. The City under an agreement with Aclara will install the AMI system <br /> network consisting of data collection units ("DCU") installed by Aclara across the City's service <br /> territory. The AMI system is capable of capturing signals from radio Meter Telemetry Units (MTUs). <br /> The City under this agreement, will purchase Meter Telemetry Units (MTUs) from Delta Engineering <br /> Sales, LLC (hereinafter called"Delta")who is contracted as Aclara's exclusive distributor in the State of <br /> California. Additionally, Delta will supply required project materials and services to support the City's <br /> AMI project goals. <br /> II. Scope of Work <br /> Materieals: <br /> Delta will furnish and install AMI project materials approved by the City and identified in Exhibit B, <br /> materials include: <br /> Aclara Technologies, LLC —Meter Telemetery Units (MTU's) and handheld units to be used in <br /> conjunction with the AMI system. <br /> Diehl Metering, Kampstrup Water Metering, LLC, and Elster Meters — Water meter design <br /> types best supporting the City's residential and comercial metering applications. <br /> Armorcast Products Company, Inc. — Aclara approved meter box lids, and where applicable <br /> meter boxes. <br /> Product warranties will be exclusive to the Manufacturer's product warranties as provided in Exhibit D. <br /> Installation Services: <br /> Delta is an Aclara certified installer, Delta will subcontract Professional Meters Inc. (hereinafter called <br /> "PMI") to perform field installation services identified in Exhibit C. PMI specialization in field <br /> services, including mass installation of automated metering products. <br /> Delta AMI Professional Services: <br /> Delta represents the City's interest as AMI project liaison, insuring compliance from all project partners <br /> to meet project goals, effective management of deliverables, adherence to project scope and timelines, <br /> product warranty processing on behalf of City, and change order management as needed during project <br /> rollout. Delta serves as a single point of contact working with all project partners, supporting a <br /> seamless, strategic implementation, addressing issues that may arise outside the scope of Aclara's AMI <br /> project management (PM) role. Aclara's PM is charged with DCU network design and installation, <br /> STAR software installation, system intergeration services that interface STAR software to the City's <br /> billing system and SUS software, and STAR technical product training. <br /> Delta's supporting professional services includes and is not limited to the following: <br /> o AMI TEAM—Working with the City's project manager to develop and train the City's AMI <br /> communication, operations, and support teams. This includes defining AMI project roles and <br /> responsibilities. <br />
