Existing public service easements that run along the <br /> street right of way to be vacated will also be vacated and new public service easements <br /> will be dedicated to the City by Essex. <br /> Staff has determined that the proposed summary vacation of street right of way on Owens <br /> Drive, Willow Road and Gibraltar Drive is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan <br /> 2005-2025 and is pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highway Code. Staff is <br /> working with the owner for the dedication of the new public service easements, which will <br /> be recorded sequentially with the quitclaim deed. <br /> Notification was mailed to the utilities giving them a 30-day opportunity to request that the <br /> City reserve a private utility easement.
