SUBJECT PROPERTY <br />The project site is irregularly shaped. It is bounded on the east by single - family homes <br />(Roselyn Estates), on the south by the Alameda County Fairgrounds, and on the west <br />and north by the Arroyo Del Valle. Figures 1 a and 1 b show the project site and <br />surroundings. <br />The project site is currently occupied by an existing residence and several accessory <br />structures. The house and accessory buildings are located on the eastern portion of the <br />site. The majority of the site is undeveloped and contains the remnants of an old walnut <br />orchard.
