The funding request this year would allow students unable to go to a summer <br />camp to be able to attend. The goal is for 50 scholarship kids. <br />Commissioner Lo was provided confirmation that the grant would be used to pay for the <br />scholarships for those students who are unable to pay. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Rigl, seconded by Commissioner Inman, recommending <br />the following Community Grants Program funding recommendations in the Youth Category for <br />Fiscal Year 2016/2017: <br />Youth Commission Minutes <br />March 9, 2016 <br />Page 5 <br />
