CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />PLE ASANTON. <br />April 19, 2016 <br />Engineering <br />TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR PARCEL MAP 10257 <br />(CARMAX) LOCATED AT 2750 STONERIDGE DRIVE <br />SUMMARY <br />Parcel Map (PM) 10257 created two commercial lots on an approximately 35.8 -acre site <br />located on the northwest corner of the Stoneridge Drive and El Charro Road intersection, <br />as shown on Attachment 1. Parcel 1 is the site of CarMax Auto Superstores (CarMax), <br />Parcel 2 was subsequently subdivided into three lots, one of which is the site of Chrysler <br />Dodge Jeep Ram (Chrysler). A private road, Auto Mall Way, will provide access to the <br />public right of way on Stoneridge Drive for all parcels. All subdivision improvements for <br />Auto Mall Way have been constructed and the public improvements are ready for <br />acceptance. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept all public improvements constructed with PM 10257 for normal maintenance. <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There will be a minimal increase to the budget for the maintenance of the public sanitary <br />sewer main and public water main. Revenue from taxes generally covers the increased <br />cost to provide services and maintain infrastructure. <br />
