•
Subject: FW: opinion voiced regarding incoming commerce in Pleasanton
Attachments: Johnson Drive EDZ FAQ-11-10-15.pdf
From:Teri Dunne SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Sent:Tuesday,April 12, 2016 3:35 PM ''CiVidaad to the City Council
To: Mayor and City Council<citycouncil @cityofpleasantonca.gov> After Distribution of Packet
Subject:opinion voiced regarding incoming commerce in Pleasanton
gat@ 4t: _
NO
Instead of attending the event tonight where not everyone will have time to voice their opinion.
I enjoy working out of my home in a quiet neighborhood for the past 20 years. Like where we moved from,
Pleasanton has a long term goal of city planning as a family neighborhood with good schools.
Considering large commerce will destroy what Pleasanton has built and grown their reputation on. The
negatives considered with the gain of revenue will still equal a hug negative bottom line and kill our town here.
These facilities will compete with local reputable companies... an endangered breed. It will increase crime,
decrease child safety, create a greater water supply/quality challenge, decrease our property values, cheapen the
class of community, create filth, sour Club Sport access, encourage excess shopping.... we really don't need
down the block endless supply of goods, pollution.
Entertaining this idea is a waste of time and resources. Improve downtown by making it more feasible for
quality business to come back to downtown. Pleasanton should fix what is broken.... rebuild our beautiful
downtown and keep our historically desirable downtown. Don't make Pleasanton a burp on the map.
Teri Dunne
REALTOR
Mobile: (925)200-8267
Email: teri.dunne @bhhsdrysdale.com
Website: http://www.teridunne.com
Ca1BRE# 01952869
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
