ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 11.20, SECTION 11.20.010, OF THE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET AND REVISE SPEED LIMITS FOR PARTICULAR <br /> CITY STREETS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Title 11, Vehicles and Traffic, Chapter 11.20, Speed Limits Section <br /> 11.20.010, Speed Limits in Certain Zones, of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, is hereby amended to add new subsections, amend existing subsections, <br /> and delete subsections, as follows: <br /> 11.20.010 Speed limits in certain zones. <br /> Based upon an engineering and traffic investigation and study, the prima facie <br /> speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets, or parts of said streets, <br /> designated in this section when signs are in place giving notice thereof: <br /> B. Bernal Avenue: <br /> 2. From east side of Arroyo Laguna to Valley Avenue the speed limit <br /> shall be 46 40 miles per hour. <br /> V. Laurel Creek Way: <br /> 1. From Foothill Road to Stoneridge Mall Road the speed limit shall be <br /> 15 30 miles per hour. <br /> Section 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be <br /> posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br />
