B. Submit Ordinance No. 2133 to the voters. If the Council decides to submit the <br /> matter to the voters, Council must select the June 7th or November 8th election <br /> date, or decide on a different stand-alone special election date, and then: <br /> 1. Adopt the resolution, Attachment 2, calling for the election to have Ordinance <br /> No. 2133 submitted to the voters at the election date selected by the Council; <br /> 2. Adopt language for the ballot question; <br /> 3. Adopt the resolution, Attachment 3, requesting consolidation of the election; <br /> 4. Adopt the resolution, Attachment 4, setting a deadline for submission of direct <br /> arguments, allowing for rebuttal arguments, and setting a deadline for <br /> submission of rebuttal arguments; and <br /> 5. Decide whether and which Council members will participate in the writing and <br /> signing of direct and rebuttal arguments either for or against the referendum; <br /> and <br /> 6.
