<br /> Communities Toolkit and conduct Introduction to Zero Waste Workshops in each of the 8 communities in Alameda County that have

<br /> West County,$17,000.00-Funds from this grant will be used to enhance its existing REAP curriculum by developing a tailored 5-
<br /> week course,in addition to new programming,that will be deployed semi-annually at Treasure Island,wherein no REAP activities
<br /> have been conducted to date. The proposed program will also include the installation of 15 planter boxes filled with fresh produce and
<br /> including a fully operational composting system to support healthy eating and responsible living.

<br /> $30,000.00-Funds from this grant will be used to document the diversion rate at each of the public schools in San Leandro and
<br /> identify opportunities for right sizing service for recycling,compost and trash;meet with Green Teams at each school to identify
<br /> methods of streamlining programs and increasing participation;provide technical assistance,tools,resources as needed;present lesson
<br /> plans to teachers at schools;expand the program to San Leandro private schools and pre-schools;increase the diversion rate to 65%
<br /> within one year and to 75%by the end of year 3;identify opportunities for 90%diversion through future phases of this project.

<br /> efforts district wide,assess opportunities for continued education,and support City of Berkeley and Alameda County Waste reduction.
<br /> Project Grant#: 15-68 SCRAP,Development,San Francisco,West County,$15,000.00-Funds from this grant will be used to
<br /> continue to fund the Development and Communications Manager position of SCRAP to continue initiating and fostering long-term
<br /> relationships with the constituents and philanthropic benefactors.
<br /> The total 2015 Expenditure Plan budget of$265,000 for Project Grants was approved by the Board along with the option to
<br /> carry over all unexpended funds from previous grant years and expend if necessary. A total of$343,011.00 in Project Grants
<br /> was awarded.

<br /> Multi-Year Grant#: 13-65(3)Castro Valley Sanitary District(CVSan),Multi-Family Food Scrap Recycling in Castro Valley,
<br /> Castro Valley,East County,$5,266.66-Funds from this grant will be used to provide access to the third(organics including food
<br /> scrap recycling)of three primary municipal solid waste services(organics,recycling,and garbage)and education that single-family
<br /> residences have appreciated in Castro Valley for over 10 years.
<br /> Multi-Year Grant#: 14-51(2)Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda(CASA),The 90 Percent Challenge,Alameda,
<br /> West Couty,$10,000.00-Funds from this grant will be used to work with all 4th grade teachers to sign up classrooms for the Davis
<br /> Street Transfer Station tour,work with all 5th grade teachers to implement the Student Action Project,sign up the Rock Steady
<br /> Juggling school assembly for each school,and ensure that all middle and high schools are participating in the Service Learning Waste
<br /> Reduction Project.
<br /> The total 2015 Expenditure Plan budget of$16,000 for Multi-Year Grants was approved by the Board along with the option to
<br /> carry over all unexpended funds from previous grant years and expend if necessary. A total of$15,266.66 in Multi-Year
<br /> Grants was awarded.

<br /> document that the well owners,approximately 10 residents along Dyer Road,agree to provide Langan access to collect and analyze
<br /> samples.
