CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALA~IEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 776 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES 770 AND 761~'HICH <br /> PLACED APPROXIMATELY A 5-ACRE PARCEL LOCATED IMMEDIATELY <br /> EAST OF HOPYARD ROAD AND NORTH OF VALLEY AVENUE INTO <br /> AN INTERIM "S" [STUDY] DISTRICT) AND REZONING THE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 5-ACRE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED NEAR THE <br /> NORTHEAST CORNER OF HOPYARD ROAD AND VALLEY FROM <br /> "A" (AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "C-C" (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) <br /> DISTRICT AND"P'~PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT AS <br /> SHOWN ON ZONING UNIT MAP NO. 148 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 761 (An Ordinance Placing Approximatel" <br />a 5-Acre Parcel Located Immediately East of Hopyard Road and North <br />of Valley Avenue into an Interim "S" [Study] District, as Shown on <br />Zoning Unit Map No. 146, and Adopting Said Ordinance as an Urgency <br />Measure) was passed on May 27, 1975 by the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 770 (An Ordinance Extending Ordinance <br />No. 761 Which Placed Approximately a Five-Acre Parcel of Property <br />Located Immediately East of Hopyard Road and North of Valley <br />Avenue into an Interim "S"[Study] District as Sho~ on Zoning Unit <br />Map No. 146) was adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />~Pleasanton on September 22, 1975 and extended the interim "S" <br />~tudy) District for an additional eight months; and <br /> I~{EREAS, the Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 1371, <br /> adopted October 8, 1975, recommended that the City Council adopt <br /> GP-75-4, amending the General Plan as it pertains to the eastern <br /> approximately one-third of said property from High Density Resi- <br /> dential to Public and that the remainder be amended to Retail <br /> Business and Offices; and <br /> WHEREAS, on October 28, 1975, the City Council adopted Resol- <br /> ution No. 75-229 approving an amendment to the General Plan desig- <br /> nation for said property from High Density Residential to Retail <br /> Business and Offices, Professional and Administrative Offices, <br /> Medium Density Residential, Public or Institutions; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
