EXHIBIT A <br /> Scope of Services <br /> 1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The scope of work to be provided by RMC includes professional services for the following: <br /> Evaluate the water and sewer facilities required to connect all parcels in the Happy Valley <br /> Study area to the City of Pleasanton's water distribution system and sewer collection system. <br /> Identify improvements required to the existing water and sewer facilities. Estimate capital <br /> cost for water and sewer facilities required for new facilities and improvements to existing <br /> facilities. <br /> 2. SERVICES INCLUDED <br /> The professional services provided by RMC for the above-described project shall include the <br /> following tasks: <br /> Task 1—Project Management <br /> Provide monthly progress reports,budget tracking,client meetings,and communications,and <br /> schedule coordination. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • One meeting is assumed to discuss results of draft report and all comments. <br /> • Project duration is assumed to be 4 months from receipt of Notice to Proceed from <br /> City. <br /> Task 2—Data Collection and Review <br /> RMC will prepare an initial request list of additional data and information that may be <br /> relevant.This list is included as Exhibit C. Data will be reviewed,and additional data will be <br /> requested as necessary. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • City will provide available applicable information via email or download from its GIS <br /> database. <br /> • RMC can rely on City provided information in analyzing the infrastructure needs for <br /> the study. <br /> Task 3—Happy Valley Sewer Collection System Evaluation <br /> 1 <br />
