RESOLUTION NO. 15- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR LIONS WAYSIDE AND DELUCCHI PARKS MASTER PLAN PROJECT WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 16, 2016, the City Council received a proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks Master Plan Project, which envisions unifying and reprogramming the two parks to improve function, safety, and aesthetics; and WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated October 2015, and received the recommendation of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 16, 2016, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks Master Plan Project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The City Council approves the Negative Declaration for the Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks Master Plan Project. SECTION 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on the February 16, 2016.
