I am writing to you to express my support for the proposed development at 377 St Mary's Street As a downtown resident. I am delighted to hear that something may be done with the space. I often walk past the site and ponder why better use isn't being made of the vacant lot. which currently brings down the look and feel of downtown Pleasanton. The proposed houses look absolutely stunning and I'm a huge fan of the Spanish.colonial design. The developers' attention to detail is sublime and I would welcome the addition of tasteful new homes being built on such a tired and derelict looking lot. I am also excited to see the inclusion of a large public plaza. which would undoubtedly create a wonderlill community space. It's exactly what this part oldowntown Pleasanton needs. When my family and I moved to Calilornia just over a year ago. we chose to buy a home in Pleasanton because we loved the sense of community the downtown area brings to the city. In my opinion it's developments like this that will cement Pleasanton's status as a city with community at its heart. I would urge you to support this exciting project which I'm sure will revitalise such a tired. overgrown waste of space. Please feel tree to contact me if you require any further comment.
