ATTACHMENT 2 RESOLUTION NO. 15- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE P15-1024, REGARDING A CHANGE IN LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR 377 ST. MARY STREET FROM RETAIL/HIGHWAY/SERVICE COMMERCIAL; BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL OFFICES TO RETAIL/HIGHWAY/SERVICE COMMERCIAL; BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL OFFICES AND HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL WHEREAS, Fireside Investors, LLC has applied for a General Plan Amendment to modify the General Plan Land Use designation for 377 St. Mary Street from Retail/Highway/Service Commercial; Business and Professional Offices to Retail/Highway/Service Commercial; Business and Professional Offices and High Density Residential to accommodate a mixed use project including conversion of the existing residential unit to commercial use and the construction of three single-family detached residential units on a 0.25-acre site at 377 St. Mary Street ("the Project"); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting on November 18, 2015 adopted Resolution PC-2015-37, determining that the proposed General Plan Amendment is appropriate for 377 St. Mary Street, making findings, and recommending to the Pleasanton City Council that P14-1024 be approved; and WHEREAS, on December 15, 2015, the Pleasanton City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and related materials, and the recommendations of City staff and the Planning Commission; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The City Council adopts an amendment to the Land Use Element of the Pleasanton General Plan 2005-2025, as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made part of this resolution by reference. SECTION 2. The City Council determines that the Land Use Element of the Pleasanton General Plan 2005-2025 may be amended as provided in Government Code Section 65358. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on December 15, 2015.
