Mr. Gerry Beaudin F E H Rt P E E RS
November 9, 2015
term parking strategies. As part of the report, we will provide information related to available funding
sources, such as grant funding, establishing a Downtown Business Improvement District, or user fees.
We will discuss with City staff existing funding mechanisms. We will respond to two rounds of
editorial comments prior to finalizing the report.
SCHEDULE AND BUDGET ESTIMATE
Fehr& Peers will schedule the wayfinding charrette to occur approximately three week from receipt of
a contract to allow documentation of the existing conditions data. A final wayfinding plan will be
submitted within one week of the wayfinding charrette. A draft memorandum outlining potential
parking strategies will be submitted within six to eight weeks of receipt of a contract. A draft parking
demand assessment will be submitted approximately two weeks after we have received direction on
potential parking strategies that are appropriate for implementation in downtown Pleasanton. The
supply assessment will be prepared within approximately two weeks of completion of the draft
parking assessment.
We expect that these tasks would be a collaborative process with City staff, such that when products
are delivered, there are minor editorial comments that can be incorporated into the draft Downtown
Parking Strategy and Implementation Plan to help maintain the overall schedule of a final Downtown
Parking Strategy and Implementation Plan by April 2016. Our overall level of effort is presented in
Attachment A, which includes a 5 percent contingency to account for additional meetings, data
collection, or other tasks that were not envisioned in this scope of work.
Please contact us with any questions or if you need any additional information. We look forward to
working with you on this project.
Sincerely,
FEHR & PEERS
//'‘fid44°----
Kathrin Tellez, AICP, PTP
Principal
P15-4416-WC
Attachment A-Level of Effort
