Continued to November 3, 2015 - Public Hearing: PUD-25, Greenbriar Homes/Lund Ranch II — Consider introduction of ordinances (1) approving a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Rezoning and Development Plan approval to construct 50 single-family, two story homes and related improvements on the approximately 194.7-acre Lund Ranch II property located at 1500 Lund Ranch Road at the end of Lund Ranch Road, and (2) Development Agreement to vest entitlements for the project; and approval of a resolution certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the project 13. Accept Information Report on 2015 Business Survey Results Economic Development Director Pamela Ott presented the 2015 Business Survey results, stating the City has an economic development strategic plan and one implementation item is to solicit on-going feedback from businesses in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and other business organizations. In 2012, she presented the results of the initial survey which was intended to be a baseline. This survey had three components: focus groups with small and medium sized companies, a telephone survey of 376 interviews, and an on-line survey that generated 176 participants, but this was not statistically valid. For this year's survey there are two phases; a survey of small and medium sized companies and a telephone survey with 252 completed interviews. Staff worked with J.D. Franz Research, Inc. to ensure the interviewing and resulting data is reflective of Pleasanton's business community. The survey has a margin of 5% margin of error at the 95% confidence level and they had a 74% cooperation rate. Ms. Ott said she worked closely with the City's Economic Vitality Committee as well as a subcommittee of the EVC which comprised of herself, James Paxton, Scott Raty, Laura Olson and several other EVC members.
