Subject:
FW: Lund Ranch II Council Hearing; 12/1/15
From: Tom DeMott
Sent: Saturday, November 28, 2015 3:11 PM
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject: Lund Ranch II Council Hearing; 12/1/15
To City Council Members;
MATERIAL
,,vided to :be City Council
tter Distribution of packet
Date
As 18 year residents of Ventana Hills, we were shown agreements from the city that no further
development would occur through Lund Ranch Rd. A city council, much like yours made that promise
in writing; and this commitment should be honored by the current council.
If there is to be development in Lund Ranch II, it should go through Sycamore Heights and Bridle
Creek, where future home building "up the road" was known to potentially happen. I understand they
don't want it, but there were no promises made to these homeowners.
Mission Hills and Ventana Hills already absorb cut through traffic as well as the hundreds of families
from across the city that come and enjoy the beautiful Mission Park. There is no such cut - through
traffic or parks to attract people outside their own neighborhood in the Sycamore Heights or Bridle
Creek subdivisions. Their traffic is very Tight.
Those of us who love to live in Pleasanton put up with a lot of traffic and addressing the solution is
one of the top priorities for the city. Please don't add to our traffic issues by placing more traffic
through the Ventana Hills and Mission Hills neighborhoods and please don't create a compromise by
splitting the traffic between the new development and the two neighborhoods.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.
Tom & Laura DeMott
1051 Hancock Court
Pleasanton
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
