structures or otherwise except that riding trails, <br />hiking trails, picnic areas, stables and similar <br />amenities may be placed in natural open space pur- <br />suant to the approval of an H -P -D permit. <br />(3) Landscaping. The H -P -D permit shall <br />include the planting of newly created banks or <br />slopes for erosion control or to minimize their <br />visual effect. <br />Section 4. Section 2 -5.05 (Districts), Article 1, Chapter 2, <br />Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is <br />amended by the inclusion of the following designation: <br />H -P -D Hillside Planned Development District. <br />Section 5. Section 2 -6.14 (Conditional Uses), Article 5, <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleas- <br />anton is amended by the addition of a new subsection to read as <br />follows: <br />1. Any grading requiring a permit by Section <br />7006 of the Building Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />on property having a weighted incremental slope, as <br />defined in Article 32 of this chapter, of 10 per cent <br />or greater. This subsection shall not apply to any <br />recorded lot or to any property on which an approved <br />tentative map exists at the effective date of this <br />ordinance. <br />Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective thirty <br />(30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br />Section 7.
