b) Select routes for movement of construction-related vehicles and equipment so <br /> that noise-sensitive areas, including residences and outdoor recreation areas, <br /> are avoided as much as possible. Include these routes in materials submitted <br /> to the City of Pleasanton for approval prior to the issuance of building permits. <br /> c) All site improvements and construction activities shall be limited to the hours of <br /> 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. In addition, no construction <br /> shall be allowed on State and federal holidays, Saturdays, or Sundays. The <br /> Community Development Director may allow earlier "start times" for specific <br /> construction activities (e.g., concrete foundation/floor pouring), if it can be <br /> demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Community Development Director that <br /> the construction and construction traffic noise will not affect nearby residents. <br /> Prior to construction, the hours of construction shall be posted on site. <br /> d) All construction equipment must meet DMV and City noise standards and shall <br /> be equipped with muffling devices. <br /> e) Designate a noise disturbance coordinator who will be responsible for <br /> responding to complaints about noise during construction. The telephone <br /> number of the noise disturbance coordinator shall be conspicuously posted at <br /> the construction site and shall be provided to the City of Pleasanton. Copies of <br /> the construction schedule shall also be posted at nearby noise sensitive areas. <br /> f) Construction activities conducted on the subject property shall not exceed 86 <br /> dBA at any point outside of the property plane of the subject property <br /> (Pleasanton Municipal Code Section 9.04.100.B.). <br /> These requirements shall be printed on the construction plans to the satisfaction of <br /> the Director of Community Development. <br /> 42. Rain gutters shall discharge into landscaping planter areas where feasible. These <br /> details shall be shown on the plans submitted to the Building and Safety Division <br /> for plan check and are subject to the review and approval of the Director of <br /> Community Development prior to building permit issuance. <br /> 43. The project shall comply with the State of California's Model Water Efficient <br /> Landscape Ordinance and Bay Friendly Basics Landscape Checklist. A licensed <br /> landscape architect shall verify the project's compliance with the ordinance and <br /> checklist: 1) prior to the issuance of a building permit; and 2) prior to final <br /> inspection. The verification shall be provided to the Planning Division. <br /> 44. The residential buildings shall be constructed to allow for future installation of a <br /> Photovoltaic (PV) system and solar water heating systems. The project <br /> applicant/developer shall comply with the following requirements for making all <br /> apartment buildings photovoltaic-ready and solar-water-heating-ready: <br /> 8 of 30 <br />
