THE CITY OF 5 <br /> rftifte CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> Vl <br /> FEEASANTON. <br /> September 1, 2015 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FEHR & <br /> PEERS IN THE AMOUNT OF $146,237 TO PROVIDE PLANNING AND <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR AN UPDATE TO THE PLEASANTON <br /> PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE MASTER PLAN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Pleasanton Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan requires an update every five years <br /> to revise the project priority list and to allow the City to compete for the state's Bicycle <br /> Transportation Account and other regional, state and federal funds. <br /> Staff advertised and solicited requests for proposals to update the Pedestrian and Bicycle <br /> Master Plan but received only one proposal from Fehr & Peers. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Fehr & Peers to provide planning <br /> and engineering services for an update to the Pleasanton Pedestrian and Bicycle <br /> Master Plan for the not-to-exceed amount of$146,237. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached professional services agreement. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for the Master Plan update will be provided through the Bicycle and Pedestrian <br /> Improvements Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project (No. 155043), which uses <br /> Measure B funding. <br />
