installed within the Vesting Tentative Parcel Map area are private and shall be <br /> maintained by the property owners. <br /> The water main and the fire hydrant along the private driveway and between Foothill <br /> Road and the water meters will be public and maintained by the City. The water main <br /> from the Fire Department's connection to the fire hydrants on the north end is a "dry <br /> water main." In the event of a fire, water from the fire hydrant closest to the water <br /> meters will be boosted to a higher elevation through the "dry water main" using a fire <br /> truck to pump the water to fire hydrants further up the private drive. The sprinkler <br /> systems for all proposed homes on Lots 1 to 4 shall be connected to the private water <br /> system on the customer side of the water meter and water pumps. <br /> The private driveway entrance at Foothill Road was realigned for enhanced access.
