CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 74-154 <br /> A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF MR. AND <br /> MRS . JERRY WILLIAMS TO VARIANCE APPROVAL <br /> GRANTED TO MR. RICHARD GUASCO BY BOARD OF <br /> ADJUSTMENT RESOLUTION NO. R-74-15 . <br /> WHEREAS , on June 12 , 1974 , at a regular meeting of the Board <br /> of Adjustment of the City of Pleasanton, said Board <br /> considered a request for Variance No . V-74-13 , <br /> filed by Mr. Richard Guasco; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment found that a variance would <br /> be proper in this particular case and made specific <br /> findings with respect to said variance; and <br /> WHEREAS , subsequent to the granting of this variance , Mr. and <br /> Mrs . Jerry Williams filed an appeal with the City <br /> Clerk of the City of Pleasanton requesting a review <br /> of the decision of the Board of Adjustment as set <br /> forth in Resolution No . R-74-15 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22 , 1974 , the City Council held <br /> a public hearing to consider this appeal; and <br /> WHEREAS, all interested persons were allowed to speak at this <br /> hearing. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1 . The decision of the Board of Adjustment as set forth <br /> in Resolution No . R-74-15 , dated June 12 , 1974 , is hereby sus- <br /> tained and the appeal from said resolution granting a variance <br /> to Mr. and Mrs . Richard Guasco is denied . <br /> Section 2 . The City Council specifically finds that due to the <br /> size, shape and topography of the property owned by the Guascos , <br /> they are unable to obtain full use of their property to the same <br /> extent that other persons similarly situated are able to make <br /> full use of their property unless a variance is granted.
